Antelope lower canyon, Arizona
I drove Las Vegas to Antelope canyon and driving though Utah. I only have been traveling in the Islands not like this huge continental. How many times I stopped the car and enjoy the Mars looking land. I was impressed the unending land.
Antelope Canyon was formed by the erosion of Navajo Sandstone due to flash flooding and other sub-aerial processes. It was hard to imagen "flash flood" here but that's how this amazing canyon made in hundreds of millions of years.
I am often asked, which one do you recommend upper or lower canyon. I need to say both. You should go both canyon. It is very different.
